BRUSSELS, Belgium - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to take part in day two of the meeting of European and national parliament representatives on Western Balkans.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Foreign Ministry State Secretary Andrej Ster is to chair a meeting of EU development ministers.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Slovenian foreign and defence ministers, Dimitrij Rupel and Karl Erjavec, are to appear in front of the European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee.
LJUBLJANA - The management board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) is to meet, with Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak expected to take part.
LJUBLJANA - The YHD association of the disabled is to stage a protest in front of the National Assembly. Their demands include a system-wide solution to the right to personal assistance.
WEDNESDAY, 28 May
LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is to vote on the amendments to the housing act, the waters act and the general practitioners act.
POSTOJNA - The government is to visit the western Notranjsko-kraska region.
KIEV, Ukraine - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate and Justice Minister Lovro Sturm are to take part in a two-day EU Troika-Ukraine meeting on justice, freedom and security.
LEIPZIG, Germany - An international transport forum is to be attended by Transport Minister Radovan Zerjav.
LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) is to organise a panel on competitive tax legislation and sustainable development.
LJUBLJANA - International conference on the reforms to the Common Agricultural Policy, organised by Birdlife Slovenia (DOPPS), will be attended by Agriculture Ministry State Secretary Branka Tome.

THURSDAY, 29 May
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The Competitiveness Council is to begin a two-day meeting. On day one EU economy ministers are to meet under the chairmanship of Slovenia's Andrej Vizjak and public administration ministers are to hold a session under the chairmanship of Slovenia's Gregor Virant.
LJUBLJANA - The parliament is to meet at an extraordinary session on the supplementary 2008 budget.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to present the EU's position on Iraq at an international aid conference in his capacity as the chair of the EU General Affairs and External Relations Council.

NEW DELHI, India - Meeting of the EU troika with India. Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, the chair of the General Affairs and External Relations Council (GAERC), is to head the EU delegation.
LJUBLJANA - Deputies are to debate the amendments to the act on public sector wages and on higher education as they convene for the final day of the May session.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The Competitiveness Council is to conclude its two-day meeting with science ministers expected to meet under the chairmanship of Slovenian Higher Education, Science and Technology Minister Mojca Kucler Dolinar.
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk is to discuss Slovenia's experience with the euro adoption with the participants of a financial forum.

MT. SAN PIETRO, Corsica - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to unveil a memorial plaque on the site of the worst aviation accident in Slovenian history at the close of a clean up operation.
