TUESDAY, 6 May
ANKARA, Turkey - EU Troika-Turkey meeting.
PORTOROZ - A two-day conference on e-health is to kick off.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Labour, the Family, Social Policy and the Disabled Committee is to debate amendments to the asbestos act.
LJUBLJANA - Centre for Inter-religious Dialogue from Tehran and the Ljubljana Faculty of Theology are organising a symposium on inter-religious dialogue.
LJUBLJANA - A delegation of the Kosovo Ministry of Trade and Industry is to pay an official visit to Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - A two-day meeting of the European patent forum is to kick off and the European Inventor of the Year 2008 awards will be conferred.

WEDNESDAY, 7 May
BRDO PRI KRANJU - A two-day meeting of the Conference of European Affairs Committees and European Parliament (COSAC) is to start.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic is to attend a session of the European Parliament.
LJUBLJANA - The Institute for Ethnic Studies and the Council of Europe Office are organising a debate on intercultural dialogue for better situation of the Roma in Slovenia.
BELGRADE, Serbia - A conference dubbed The European Union and South East Europe: A Common Vision for Connecting People.

THURSDAY, 8 May
LJUBLJANA - The European Forum, attended by top EU and Slovenian officials, is to discuss the EU's future.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Committee on Local Government and Regional Development is to draft a proposal for a referendum on provinces.
LJUBLJANA - The government is to hold its regular weekly session.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Commission for the Supervision of Intelligence and Security Services is to draft a report on the allegedly plotted incidents in the bordering Bay of Piran in the run up to the 2004 general election in Slovenia.
BRDO PRI KRANJU - A two-day informal meeting of the EU Council Working Group on Export Credits is to get underway.
LJUBLJANA - A panel on the impact of EU policies on human rights.

FRIDAY, 9 May
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary EU Affairs Committee is to hold a session to mark the Europe Day.
PODGORICA, Montenegro - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate is to meet his Montenegrin counterpart Jusuf Kalamperovic.
TOPOLSICA - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to address a ceremony marking the 63rd anniversary of the official end of the WWII in Southeastern Europe.

SATURDAY, 10 May
LJUBLJANA - Army barracks around Slovenia are to open the doors to visitors as part of the Day of Slovenian Armed Forces celebrations.

SUNDAY, 11 May
No major events are scheduled.
