World Swimming Champs: Mankoc Bags Gold
Manchester, 10 April
Slovenian swimmer Peter Mankoc won gold in the 100-metre butterfly at the World Swimming Championships (25m) in Manchester on Thursday.
The 29-old Slovenian swimmer set a new Championships record of 50.04 seconds, finishing half a second ahead of Australia's Adam Pine (50.54). Russian Nikolai Skworzow won bronze.
