The president of the Slovenian Academy of Arts and Sciences Bostjan Zeks and Robert Kaptein, Secretary General and Foreign Secretary of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, signed a letter of intent on Thursday. The document is to promote joint projects and exchange of scientists, Zeks told the press.
We can learn a lot from the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, which has a 200-year-old tradition, said Zeks, who wishes for a fruitful cooperation and exchange of ideas.
The main purpose of the document is to deepen and broaden cooperation between the two science communities and to strengthen their scientific capabilities.
The Slovenian Academy of Arts and Sciences has so far signed similar letters of intent with more than 30 European science academies.
