Jerman Gets Bronze at Chamonix Downhill

Chamonix, 26 January

Slovenia's best skier of the season Andrej Jerman bagged bronze on Saturday at the downhill event in France's Chamonix in what was the first podium finish of the season for him and the entire Slovene alpine skiing team.

Jerman (2:00.57) finished 56 hundreths of a second behind American Marco Sullivan (2:00.11), while Didier Cuche of Switzerland got the silver medal with a time of 2:00.51.
