Industrial Output in November Up 2.4% Y/Y

The industrial output in November was up 2.4% year-on-year and 4% down on October, the national Statistics Office said on Thursday.
The industrial output in the first eleven months of 2007 was meanwhile up 7.6% compared to the the same period the year before.
Year on-year, the industrial output expanded by 3.8% in manufacturing, while it decreased in mining and quarrying (-5%) and electricity, gas and water supply (-14%).
Broken down by industrial grouping, industrial production increased at the yearly level in capital goods industries (9.4%) and consumer goods industries (2.7%), while the output fell in intermediate goods industries (-0.7%).
