TUESDAY, 15 January
STRASBOURG, France - European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic is to sign a package of laws passed by the European Parliament and EU Council on the sidelines of January's plenary of the European Parliament.
BRDO PRI KRANJU - The European Platform for Biodiversity Research Strategy is to convene a four-day meeting.
LJUBLJANA - The Bologna Board is to begin a two-day meeting.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The Working Party on Trade Questions is to hold an informal meeting.

WEDNESDAY, 16 January
STRASBOURG, France - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to outline Slovenia's EU presidency priorities to the European Parliament. The ensuing debate is to be attended also by European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic.
THE HAGUE, Netherlands - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to visit the Netherlands.
BRDO PRI KRANJU - The Committee of the Regions Expert Group on European Grouping for Territorial Cooperation is to convene a two-day meeting.

THURSDAY, 17 January
LJUBLJANA - French Defence Minister Herve Morin is to visit Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic is to meet his Spanish opposite number Alberto Navarro Gonzalez.
PAPHOS, Cyprus - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to take part in a two-day informal meeting of foreign ministers of the EU's Mediterranean member states.

FRIDAY, 18 January
NICOSIA, Cyprus - Prime Minister Janez Jansa, Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel are to take part in a ceremony welcoming Cyprus to the eurozone.
LJUBLJANA - Director of the European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the Member States (Frontex) Iikko Laitinen is to meet Interior Minister Dragutin Mate.
MUNICH, Germany - Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant is to meet the head of the European Commission's working group for reducing administrative burdens Edmund Stoiber.

SATURDAY, 19 January
No major events are scheduled.

SUNDAY, 20 January
