Slovenian swimmers achieve outstanding results at the European Championships

Debrecen, 16 December

Slovenian swimmers Peter Mankoc and Anja Carman won the gold medal at the 11th European Short Course Swimming Championships in Hungary's Debrecen.

Peter Mankoc, clocking in at 52.88 in 100m medley, was followed by Thomas Rupprath of Germany (53.46) and Russia's Sergey Fesikov (54.12).
Anja Carman won the gold in women's 200m backstroke clocking in at 2:05.20.
On Friday, Mankoc won also the bronze medal in the 100 m butterfly, finishing in 50.62 seconds, behind Milorad Cavic of Serbia (50.53) and Evgeni Korotyshkin of Russia (50.59).
