Estonia's animated film "Kleit" (The Dress), by Jelena Girlin and Mari-Liis Bassovskaja, won the Grand Prize at the conclusion of the 4th Animateka festival of animated film on Sunday evening in Ljubljana.
Estonia's animated film "Kleit" (The Dress), by Jelena Girlin and Mari-Liis Bassovskaja, won the Grand Prize at the conclusion of the 4th Animateka festival of animated film on Sunday evening in Ljubljana.
Audience Award went to Hungarian film "Eletvonal" (Lifeline) by Tomek Ducki, who also received a Special Jury Prize. "Liebeskrank" (Love-sick) by Spela Cadez was chosen the best student film.
The jury, composed of Koji Yamamura (Japan), Marco de Blois (Canada), Brigitta Burger-Utzer (Austria), Duscha Kistler (Switzerland) and Fernando Galrito (Portugal) also awarded five films with Special Metion.
The 4th Animateka festival, which took place from 3 to 9 December, featured 336 short films, four feature-length productions and 72 animated commercials from 41 countries.
