TUESDAY, 11 December
LJUBLJANA - Session of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) devoted to the draft bill on worker participation in profit and the chamber's programme for 2008.
LOKA PRI MENGSU - European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic is to attend an international panel entitled "Russia and the EU: Developing a Joint Strategy".

WEDNESDAY, 12 December
BALI, Indonesia - Environment Minister Janez Podovnik is to attend a ministerial meeting held as part the United Nations climate change conference in Bali; through 14 December.
LJUBLJANA - Weekly session of the government.
LJUBLJANA - Founding session of the new line-up of the National Council, the upper chamber of parliament. The councilors are to elect the council's new president.
LJUBLJANA - EU Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson is to visit Slovenia and is to meet Prime Minister Janez Jansa, Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak, Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel nd European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic.
BRDO PRI KRANJU - Portugal's Defence Minister Nuno Severiano Teixeira is to hand over to Slovenia's Karl Erjavec the presidency over the EU Council in defence matters.
LJUBLJANA - The state-run Restitution Fund (SOD) is to present its 2007 results and plans for 2008.

THURSDAY, 13 December
LISBON, Portugal - Prime Minister Janez Jansa and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel are the attend the signing of the Lisbon treaty.
LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is to come together for its final regular session in 2007.
MARIBOR - Regional Policy and Local Government Minister Ivan Zagar is to address a meeting of the members of the European Cultural and Technological Centre Maribor.
RUDNO POLJE - Start of the the Biathlon World Cup meet for men and women hosted by Slovenia's Pokljuka; until 16 December.
LJUBLJANA - Union Olimpija are to take on Italian champions Montepaschi of Siena in the 8th round of the basketball Euroleague.

FRIDAY, 14 December
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Prime Minister Janez Jansa, accompanied by Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, is to attend the meeting of the European Council.
LJUBLJANA - The Economic and Social Council, the industrial relations forum, is to discuss the draft bill on worker participation in profit.
LJUBLJANA - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate is to present a booklet on Slovenia's Schengen zone membership.
LJUBLJANA - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to receive the director of the European Defence Agency Alexander Weis.

SATURDAY, 15 December
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Gregor Krajc of the Government Office for European Affairs is to meet representatives of NGO European Movement.

SUNDAY, 16 December
SKOFJA LOKA - The Sever Awards are to be conferred by the Stane Sever Fund for outstanding achievements in acting.
