TUESDAY, 27 November
LJUBLJANA - Parliament continues the budget session.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Intelligence Oversight Commission is to hear Bostjan Sefic, a former deputy director of the SOVA intel agency SOVA.
LJUBLJANA - The Estonian and Slovenian prime ministers, Andrus Ansip and Janez Jansa, are to address the press following talks.
ANNAPOLIS - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to take part in the Middle East peace conference.
SOFIA, Bulgaria - Education and Sport Minister Milan Zver is to take part in the summit of the Central European Initiative.
TACEN - A panel, featuring Interior Minister Dragutin Mate, among others, is to mark the 10th anniversary of Slovenian police presence in international missions.
LJUBLJANA - A round-table debate is to be held at the launch of a book entitled "The Balkan Conflict and Its Solutions - Creating Conditions for Peace, Stability and Development in the Western Balkans".
LJUBLJANA - The programming council of the public broadcaster is to debate topical issues.
LJUBLJANA - Awards are to be handed out at the start of the 23rd annual Slovenian Book Fair. The event runs until 2 December.
LJUBLJANA - A press conference ahead of the 4th international festival of animated films dubbed "Animateka".
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The theatre ensemble of Slovensko mladinsko gledalisce is to begin a three-day guest appearance at the Europalia festival.

WEDNESDAY, 28 November
LJUBLJANA - Parliament is expected to take a vote on the 2008 and 2009 budget bills.
LJUBLJANA - The National Council, the upper chamber, is to convene the last session this term to decide on a referendum on the sale of state-owned companies.
LJUBLJANA - A regular government session.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Human Rights Commission is to resume a debate on a petition against a professor who instructed his students to report on political propaganda in religious services.
LJUBLJANA - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to receive Director for Defence Aspects at Council of the EU Claude-France Arnould.
LJUBLJANA - Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Iztok Jarc is to receive his Irish counterpart Mary Coughlan.

KOPER - The Slovenian-Italian commission overseeing the implementation of the Udine Agreement is to hold its final session.
GENEVA, Switzerland - Interior Ministry State Secretary Zvonko Zinrajh is to take part in a session of the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces.
POIANA BRASOV, Romania - A delegation of the Civil Protection and Disaster Relief Administration is to participate in a two-day plenary of NATO and Partnership for Peace countries on cooperation in crisis management.
LJUBLJANA - A panel is to discuss the Justice Ministry-crafted motion for a new criminal code.
LJUBLJANA - The results of an international survey on literacy are to be presented at a press conference.
PORTOROZ - Education and Sport Minister Milan Zvcer is to take part in a meeting of primary school headmasters.
MARIBOR - The 16th international COBISS conference is to begin.

THURSDAY, 29 November
VATICAN CITY/ROME, Italy - Prime Minister Janez Jansa, accompanied by Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, will be visiting The Vatican and Rome.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The EU Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council is to begin a two-day session, to be attended by Higher Education, Science and Technology Minister Mojca Kucler Dolinar, Transport Minister Radovan Zerjav and Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak.
LJUBLJANA - Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Iztok Jarc is to meet European Commissioner for Fisheries and Maritime Affairs Joe Borg.
LJUBLJANA - A press conference at the launch of the Roma programme at Radio Slovenija.
LJUBLJANA - A panel is to ponder chances for a Palestinian state.
LJUBLJANA - The 13th annual Exodos festival of performing art begins, running until 1 December.

BERLIN, Germany - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to pay a working visit to Germany.
LJUBLJANA - Representatives of the European Parliament's Committee on Legal Affairs are to meet Public Administration Gregor Virant, Justice Minister Lovro Sturm and Economy Ministry State Secretary Tomaz Jersic.
LJUBLJANA - European Affairs State Secretary Janez Lenarcic is to meet Secretary General of the European Parliament Harald Romer and a delegation of the Liberal group in the European legislature (ALDE).
KLAGENFURT, Austria - A two-day symposium is to focus on the status of the Slovenian minority in the Austrian province of Carinthia.
DOBRNA - European Agriculture Commissioner Mariann Fischer Boel and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Iztok Jarc are to take part in a two-day conference of young farmers of Europe.

SATURDAY, 1 December
DOBRNA - European Agriculture Commissioner Mariann Fischer Boel continues her visit to Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - A series of events ahead of 3 December, the birthday of Slovenia's greatest poet, France Preseren (1800-1849).
LJUBLJANA - An open-air conference is to be held on World AIDS Day.
