Gymnastics: Petkovsek Bags another World Cup Victory

Stuttgart, 27 October

Slovenia's Mitja Petkovsek topped the parallel bars competition at the gymnastics World Cup meet in Stuttgart on Saturday. Petkovsek, who took the World Champion title in Stuttgart two months ago, beat today world championship bronze medalist Anton Fokin of Uzbekistan and Slovakia's Samuel Piasecky.

A back injury meanwhile prevented Slovenia's second world class gymnast Aljaz Pegan from taking part in today's competition on the horizontal bar.
