Economy minister Andrej Vizjak met his Polish counterpart Piotr Grzegorz Wozniak for a working visit in Ljubljana on Monday. The ministers agreed that economic cooperation between the two countries was good, but could be further improved in the future.
According to a press release from the Slovenian Economy Ministry, both countries are to do their best to intensify economic relations.
Vizjak and Wozniak also discussed energy policies and Slovenia's stint at the helm of the EU and the Lisbon strategy, the press release said.
Trade between Slovenia and Poland amounted to EUR 489.83m in 2006, with import standing at EUR 303m and export at EUR 186.82m.
