TUESDAY, 18 September
ZELEZNIKI/KRANJ/JESENICE - Prime Minister Janez Jansa and several ministers are to visit the Gorenjsko region on the eve of the cabinet's working visit to the region.
LOKA PRI MENGSU - Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, is to attend a conference on energy education in the Southeastern Europe.
LJUBLJANA - Mojca Kucler Dolinar, nominee for the post of higher education, science and technology minister, will present her programme to the relevant parliamentary committee.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate and Justice Minister Lovro Sturm are to attend a meeting of EU interior and justice ministers.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Development Minister Ziga Turk is to participate in a meeting of national Lisbon coordinators.
LJUBLJANA - The National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, is to meet to debate an initiative for a referendum on changes to the act on the privatisation of insurance companies.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Security Services Oversight Commission will behind closed doors discuss the findings of the investigation of intelligence agency SOVA.
LJUBLJANA - Organisers are to present the 10th Festival of Slovenian Film, which will take place between 7 and 14 October in Portoroz.

WEDNESDAY, 19 September
KRANJSKA GORA/KRANJ - The government is to pay a working visit to the Gorenjsko region.
LISBON, Portugal - Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant is to attend a three-day ministerial conference on advantages of e-administration.
LJUBLJANA - The National Council is to meet for its regular session, where it is to discuss the changes to the law on the organisation and financing of education.

THURSDAY, 20 September
LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to convene its regular weekly session.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary inquiry commission is to talk about disputed purchase of eight-wheeled armoured personnel carriers for the Slovenian army.
PLEVEN, Bulgaria - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate is to take part in a two-day ministerial conference of the Salzburg Forum.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Culture, Education and Sport Committee is to hold an urgent session to talk about assuring continuity in film production.
GORNJA RADGONA - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to open a fair on contemporary defence.

FRIDAY, 21 September
BRDO PRI KRANJU - International conference on the security in the Western Balkans is to kick off.
LJUBLJANA - A round table on human rights in Russia and the EU is to accompany the publishing of Anna Politkovskaya's book Putin's Russia.

SATURDAY, 22 September
GONARS, Italy - A memorial service is to be held at the Gonars cemetery, where there is an ossuary with mortal remains of the victims of two Fascist concentration camps.
LJUBLJANA - The European Mobility Week is to end with a Car Free Day.
RASICA PRI VELIKIH LASCAH - The Marjan Rozanc Award for best collection of essays is to be conferred.

SUNDAY, 23 September
VALLETTA, Malta - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate is to attend a two-day meeting of interior ministers of EU newcomers, candidates to enter the Schengen passport-free zone.
