Registered Unemployment at 7.5% in June

The registered unemployment rate in June stood at 7.5%, a drop of 0.2 percentage points over the month before. According to the National Statistics Office, the official number of unemployed persons fell 18.1% on last June.

There was a total of 69,272 persons registered as unemployed in Slovenia in June. The unemployment rate stood at 6.0% among men, 0.1 percentage points less than in March, and at 9.4% among women, 0.2 percentage points down on the previous month.
Slovenia's labour totalled 925,423 persons in June, out of whom 856,151 were employed, a 0.4% increase over the month before.
