TUESDAY, 19 June
LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to hold a vote on economist Marko Kranjec, nominated for the post of central bank boss, and the amendments to the act on wages in the public sector.
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to pay an official visit to Luxembourg, meeting the country's Prime Minister Jean Claude Juncker and Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn.
LJUBLJANA - Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak is to attend the first session of the new management board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
LJUBLJANA - The Programming Council of RTV Slovenija, the public broadcaster's governing body, is to be in session.
LJUBLJANA - The Museum of Contemporary History is to present a book on concealed mass graves of Croatians in Slovenia, written by Slovenian historian Mitja Ferenc and Croatian survivor of post-WWII killings Zelimir Kuzatko.

WEDNESDAY, 20 June
LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to hold its regular session.
LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to hold the second reading of the amendments to the act on limiting the use of tobacco products.
BERLIN, Germany - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate is to meet his counterparts from Portugal and Germany for a two-day meeting on integration and dialogue with religious communities.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The deputy chief-of-staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces, Major General Alojz Steiner, is to attend a two-day NATO ministerial.
LJUBLJANA - The National council, the upper chamber, is to hold a debate on nuclear energy, the past, the present and the future.
HAJDINA - The Motorway Company (DARS) is to hold a news conference on the construction of the motorway section between Slivnica and Drazenci in NE Slovenia.

THURSDAY, 21 June
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to take part in a two-day EU summit and meet the European Parliament President Hans-Gert Poettering and meet EU heads of state and government from the European People's Party (EPP).
LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to meet changes to the rules of procedure to allow the opposition parties to hold majority in parliamentary bodies and amendments to the act on parliamentary supervision of intelligence and security services.
LJUBLJANA - The government Office for Equal Opportunities is to hold a panel on women on the labour market.
LJUBLJANA - The Advertising Chamber is to present results on the popularity of websites.
IDRIJA - The four-day festival of Idrija lace is to get underway.

FRIDAY, 22 June
LJUBLJANA - The final day of the June session will see the parliament decide on reincorporation of mutual insurer Vzajemna.
BERLIN, Germany - Roman Rep, state secretary at the Public Administration Ministry, is to meet EU's ministers, responsible for public administration as part of the European Public Administration Network (EUPAN).
MARIBOR - The two-week Lent Festival, Slovenia's largest festival, is to get underway.
CELJE - The 3rd international multimedia festival of contemporary music Mediafest is to kick off. The event runs for two days.

SATURDAY, 23 June
LJUBLJANA - The Kresnik award for the best Slovenian novel, issued by daily Delo, will be conferred.

SUNDAY, 24 June
LJUBLJANA - The central celebration is to be held on the eve of National Day.
