TUESDAY, 29 May
HAMBURG, Germany - FM Dimitrij Rupel is to be taking part in a meeting of foreign ministers from the EU and Asia.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Minister of Local Government and Regional Development Ivan Zagar is to pay a visit to the European Regional Policy Commissioner Danuta Huebner.
LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly will continue the May session with a secret vote on the bid by opposition Social Democrats (SD) deputy Darja Lavtizar Bebler for the post of deputy speaker.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Budget Oversight Commission is to discuss the government-sponsored changes to the act on the audit of public procurement procedures.
LJUBLJANA - Minister of Labour, the Family and Social Affairs Marjeta Cotman is to meet the social partners to debate differences over labour legislation.
LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) is to hold a general assembly to elect a new president.
KRANJ - The Slovenian Automotive Cluster is to stage an international business conference.
LJUBLJANA - The National Council for Culture, a government advisory body, is to meet to debate topical issues in culture.

LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is to vote on the changes to the act on obligatory car insurance and debate the bill on healing at first reading as part of the May session.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Health Minister Andrej Brucan is to be taking part in a two-day meeting of EU health ministers.
SOFIA, Bulgaria - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to take part in a session of the Conference of European Ministers of Transport.
LJUBLJANA - The Institute for Public Health is to hold a press conference ahead of World Tobacco Free Day.
MARIBOR - Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk is to take part in a conference on taxes in Slovenia.
MARIBOR - French retailer E.Leclerc is to unveil plans for a shopping centre in Slovenia's second largest city.

THURSDAY, 31 May
LJUBLJANA - Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg is to pay a working visit to Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is to debate the bill on army jobs at first reading. It will also hold votes on the new chairs of the parliamentary commissions overseeing intelligence services and public finances, the line-up of a coalition-ordered parliamentary inquiry into past defence deals and on the candidate for assistant human rights ombudsman.
LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to hold its weekly session.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Representatives of the Slovenian Civil Protection and Rescue Agency are to take part in a two-day plenary session of the NATO Senior Civil Emergency Planning Committee.
PORTOROZ - The three-day event Days of Slovenian Trade Crafts and Enterprise is to get underway.
IZOLA - The Kino Otok international film festival is to get underway, running until 4 June.

FRIDAY, 1 June
LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is to conclude the May session with a vote on the changes to the act on the audit of public procurement procedures.
LOKA PRI MENGSU - The Caucasus-Caspian Commission, headed by Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, is to hold a press conference.
ESSEN, Germany - Environment Minister Janez Podobnik is to take part in an informal meeting of EU environment ministers that will run until 2 June.
ZAGREB, Croatia - Environment Ministry State Secretary Mitja Bricelj is to participate in a session of the signatories of the Sava Basin Agreement.
LJUBLJANA - Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk is to be taking part in a meeting of group of deputy central bank governors from the World Bank and IMF.

SATURDAY, 2 June
OSLO, Norway - Education Minister Milan Zver is to begin a four-day visit to Norway.
