Slovenia and Egypt Agree Cooperation in Science, Technology

Ljubljana, 23 April

Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Jure Zupan and non-resident Egyptian Ambassador to Slovenia Hisham El-Zimaity on Monday signed a protocol on cooperation in science and technology.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, the document serves as the basis to draw up programmes and other bilateral documents on cooperation in science and technology.
Under the document, scientists, researchers and students from both countries will be able to take part in joint science and research projects, organise joint conferences and workshops, exchange information and documents as well as use common equipment.
The protocol also envisages a joint committee on scientific and technological cooperation to monitor the implementation of the agreement and guide bilateral cooperation.
