TUESDAY, 24 April
LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is to vote on SD deputy Marko Pavliha's nomination for the post of deputy speaker of the National Assembly, as well as appoint members of the parliamentary inquiry commission for the purchase of eight-wheeled armoured personnel carriers for the Slovenian army.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Commission for Oversight of Intelligence and Security Services is to discuss answers from the Slovenian Intelligence and Security Agency (SOVA) in response to recent developments at the agency.
CHISINAU, Moldova - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate and Foreign Ministry State Secretary Andrej Ster are to take part in an opening of a joint returnee centre.
COPENHAGEN, Denmark - Environment Minister Janez Podobnik is to take part in a meeting of EU and ASEM environment ministers.
LJUBLJANA - The Finance Ministry is to unveil the bill on the prevention of money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
BOHINJ - The Association of Slovenia Chair Lift Operators is to hold a press conference to speak about the results of the ski season.
LJUBLJANA - A two-day financial conference, Kapital 2007, is to get underway.
LJUBLJANA - The Vienna-based Institute for Higher Learning is to present a survey on the implementation of EU social rights in Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - The Institute for Sustainable Development, an environmental NGO, is to unveil the campaign to ban genetically-modified organisms.

WEDNESDAY, 25 April
LJUBLJANA - PM Janez Jansa is to answer lawmaker questions as he takes part in questions time in the National Assembly.
LJUBLJANA - Cypriot President Tassos Papadopoulos is to begin a four-day visit to Slovenia at the invitation of Slovenian counterpart Janez Drnovsek.
LONDON, UK - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to begin a two-day visit to Great Britain.
STRASBOURG, France - The European Parliament is to debate the report on Croatia's progress to EU membership.
ISTANBUL, Turkey - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to pay a three-day official visit to Turkey at the invitation of Turkish National Defence Minister Vecdi Gonul.
GENEVA, Switzerland - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to take part in the 62nd session of the UN Economic Commission for Europe.
BRDO PRI KRANJU - The High Representatives for Succession are to meet to discuss issues related to the succession of the former Yugoslavia.
LJUBLJANA - The Agriculture Ministry is to hold a press conference to speak about its plans.
LJUBLJANA - The Government Intellectual Property Office, police, Authors Agency of Slovenia and the Business Software Alliance are to hold a press conference on World Intellectual Property Day.
NOVO MESTO - Car maker Revoz is to hold a press conference ahead of the launch of the new Twingo supermini.

THURSDAY, 26 April
LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is due to inaugurate the parliamentary inquiry commission into government defence deals from 1994 to present, as demanded by the coalition in response to the opposition's inquiry commission into the latest deal for eight-wheeled armoured personnel carriers.
LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to hold its weekly session.
OSLO, Norway - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to take part in a two-day informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers.
WUERZBURG, Germany - Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak and Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Jure Zupan are to be taking part in a three-day meeting of EU ministers responsible for competition.

FRIDAY, 27 April
LJUBLJANA/ROGLA - Slovenia will observe Resistance Day, a national holiday. PM Janez Jansa is due to hold the keynote speech at the main ceremony at Rogla.

SATURDAY, 28 April
