TUESDAY, 20 March
KOPER/IZOLA - Prime Minster Janez Jansa and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel are to make stops in Koper and Izola ahead of Wednesday's government working visit to Slovenian Istria and Karst. Justice Minister Lovro Sturm is also to visit Koper.
LJUBLJANA - Former European Commission president Jacques Santer is to pay a visit to Slovenia.
ROME, Italy - A delegation of the parliamentary commission for relations with Slovenians in neighbouring countries and abroad is to begin a two-day visit to the Italian Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of the Italian parliament.
BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - A delegation of the parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee is to start a two-day visit to Slovakia.
ZAGREB, Croatia - A session of the EU - Croatia Joint Parliamentary Committee is also to be attended by the committee's vice-chairman, Slovenian MEP Borut Pahor. Pahor is also to meet Croatian President Stipe Mesic and Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader.
LJUBLJANA - Representatives of the Ministry of Labour, the Family, and Social affairs are to speak to the press about the activities envisaged as part of the 2007 European Year of Equal Opportunities for All strategy.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Health Ministry State Secretary Dorjan Marusic is to attend the European Voice-sponsored Healthcare 2007: Diagnosing our Future conference.
LJUBLJANA - The Public Agency for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investment (JAPTI) is to present at a press conference its future activities and financial plan.
BLED - The annual European Standing Conference of History Teachers' Associations is to get underway. The event which is also to be attended by Education Minister Milan Zver will close on 25 March.

WEDNESDAY, 21 March
NEW YORK - President Janez Drnovsek is to meet UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon for talks that are expected to focus on Iran and Darfur.
DIVACA/HRPELJE-KOZINA/IZOLA/KOPER/PIRAN/SEZANA - The government is to make a working visit to Slovenian Istria and Karst.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary Credentials and Privileges Commission is to debate the nomination of Samo Fakin for the post of the new director general of the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia (ZZZS).
LJUBLJANA - The National Council, the upper house of parliament, is to decide on a possible Constitutional Court challenge to the recently adopted religious freedom act.
LJUBLJANA - The Peace Institute is to unveil a study on the media coverage of the relocation of Strojan Roma Family.
PORTOROZ - The 16th Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF) is to get underway; through 23 March.

THURSDAY, 22 March
LJUBLJANA - A regular weekly government session.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to attend an EU Transport Council meeting.
LJUBLJANA - European Commission Director General for Communication Claus Soeresen is to begin a two-day visit to Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - A ceremony launching the 2007 European Year of Equal Opportunities for All is to be attended by Parliament Speaker France Cukjati, Labour, the Family and Social Affairs Minister Marjeta Cotman and Human Rights Ombudsman Zdenka Cebasek Travnik.
VIENNA, Austria - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate is to take part in a three-day informal meeting devoted to security at sports events.
LJUBLJANA - Education Minister Milan Zver is to attend a panel on research in high schools held as part of the Days of Jozef Stefan, organised by the Jozef Stefan Institute, Slovenia's premiere scientific institution.
PLANICA - The Ski-Jumping World Cup finals are to begin with official training and the qualifying round. Three events are to follow on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
LEIPZIG, Germany - The Leipzig book fair is to get underway with Slovenia featured as a special guest.

FRIDAY, 23 March
LJUBLJANA - Press conference by European Commission Director General for Communication Claus Soeresen and the Government PR and Media Office upon the signing of a cooperation agreement.
LJUBLJANA - A National Council-sponsored presentation of opinions on private education in Slovenia.

SATURDAY, 24 March
BERLIN, Germany - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to attend the two-day informal meeting marking the 50th Anniversary of the Treaty of Rome.
BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate is to begin a two-day visit to Slovakia.
LJUBLJANA - Viktors award ceremony for achievements in the media and pop culture in 2006.

SUNDAY, 25 March
PLANICA - Final event of the 2006/07 Ski-Jumping World Cup.
