TUESDAY, 28 November
RIGA, Latvia - PM Janez Jansa is to attend a two-day NATO summit. He is to be accompanied by FM Dimitrij Rupel and Defence Minister Karl Erjavec.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk is to attend a session of EU finance ministers.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The EU Council is to host an exhibition on Slovenia and the euro.
TRIESTE, Italy - Ethnic Slovenians in the provinces of Trieste, Gorizia and Udine are to elect three members of the Party Board, a body overseeing the overdue implementation of the Slovenian minority act.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary home policy, public administration and justice committee is to debate the authorities' handing of the relocation of the Strojans, the Roma family from Ambrus. The debate was requested by the opposition LDS.
LJUBLJANA - The 22nd Book Fair is to get under way, through 3 December.

WEDNESDAY, 29 November
LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to resume its November session with a debate on a motion to oust Culture Minister Vasko Simoniti, filed by the opposition LDS.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The group of the erased that set on a journey from Ljubljana via Italy and France to Brussels on Monday is to arrive at its destination, where it is to meet European Commissioner for Justice, Freedom and Security Franco Frattini and several MEPs.

LJUBLJANA - Several NGOs are to present the latest figures about HIV-infected and AIDS cases in Slovenia on the eve of the World AIDS Day.
LJUBLJANA - A conference on the future of electronic communications and the development of competition organised by the Management Agency and the Economy Ministry.

TEL AVIV, Isreal - Maccabi Tel Aviv are to play Slovenia's Union Olimpija in the 6th round of the Europw's strongest basketball competition, the Euroleague (group B).

FRIDAY, 1 December
BERLIN, Germany/Vienna, Austria - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate is to visit Germany and Austria to meet his counterparts Wolfgang Schauble and Liese Prokop.
LJUBLJANA - Biomass and other renewable sources of energy in the period between 2007 and 2023 are to be discussed at a meeting organised by the Association of Biomass Societies of Slovenia, with Environment Minister Janez Podobnik addressing the event.
LJUBLJANA - A panel organised by the Association of Slovenian Designers is to discuss the recent competition for Slovenia's new logo.

SATURDAY, 2 December
LJUBLJANA - The 22nd festival of gay and lesbian film is to get under way.
CELJE - Celje Pivovarna Lasko are to take on Germany's Flensburg-Handewitt in the first game in the round of 16.

SUNDAY, 3 December
LJUBLJANA - Two years since the Janez Jansa government held its first session.
SLOVENIA - Open house to be held throughout Slovenia upon the birthday of one of the country's most cherished poets, France Preseren (1800-1849).
KOPER - Gold Club are to take on Spain's Portland San Antonio in the first game in the round of 16.
