Maribor Ballet Company Touring Netherlands and Belgium

Ljubljana, 27 October

The SNG Maribor ballet company will be touring the Netherlands and Belgium over the following fortnight, staging "Radio and Juliet", the latest project of Edward Clug based on the music of the world-famous British band Radiohead.

The ensemble will make their first guest appearance in Helmond, where they performed at Scala. Eleven more shows are scheduled to follow over the following two weeks, according to a press release from SNG Maribor.
The production was already showcased at the prestigious festival "Le temps d'aimer" in Biarritz, in France, in September. In Israel, the show was staged twice as part of the Dance Europa festival currently under way in Tel Aviv and Haifa, attracting more than 3,000 spectators.
This is the third dance project of Edward Clug, following "Tango" and "Lacrimas". The title refers to the interplay between the music (Radiohead) and movement (Juliet). The dancers are looking for the essence of today's man and woman, trying to express their passion through movement.
