TUESDAY, 24 October
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - An Agriculture Ministry delegation is to attend a two-day session of the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council.
TRIESTE, Italy - Local Self-Government and Regional Policy Minister Ivan Zagar is due to meet Riccardo Illy, the head of the Italian Friuli-Venezia-Giulia region.
TRIESTE, Italy - A panel, organised by the Slovenian Cultural and Economic Association, is to discuss Slovenian minority representation in the regional parliament of Friuli-Venezia-Giulia.
MUNICH, Germany - Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak is due to visit EXPO REAL 2006, the real-estate fair.
KOPER - A round-table debate on the drawing of EU funds.

WEDNESDAY, 25 October
BRDO PRI KRANJU - A meeting of internal ministers from the EU countries aspiring to join the Schengen zone corresponds with a ministerial of the countries making up the Salzburg Group (Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Romania and Bulgaria).
BRDO PRI KRANJU - The Salzburg forum ministerial continues until 26 October.
LJUBLJANA - Deputy General Director of the European Commission DG Comminication Panajotis Karvounis is to arrive for a two-day visit.
PORTOROZ - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to open the 8th annual congress on roads and transport.
PARIS, France - Environment Minister Janez Podobnik is to attend a show on the 20th anniversary since the Skocjan Caves were made part of the UNESCO World Heritage List.
MADRID, Spain - Government Development Office State Secretary Andrej Horvat is to pay a working visit to Spain, until 27 October.
LJUBLJANA - Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Jure Zupan is to outline a project for the creation of a Ljubljana Poliytechnic at a press conference.
MARIBOR - A Slovenian delegation to the EU Committee of the Regions is set to present its engagement in the committee.
CERKLJE - Bank Gorenjska banka is to unveil its Q3 operating results at a press conference.
MARIBOR - The award ceremony will bring down the curtain on the 41st annual Borstnik Theatre Festival.

THURSDAY, 26 October
LJUBLJANA - A regular weekly government session.
KOPER - A ceremony marking the day when the last member of the Yugoslav Army left Slovenia's ground following the 1991 Independence War.

TRIESTE, Italy - FM Dimitrij Rupel is to head a delegation visiting war-time memorials ahead of All Saints' Day.
LJUBLJANA - Prior to All Saints' Day, Defence Minister Karl Erjavec and Chief-of-Staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces, Lieut. Gen. Albin Gutman, are to lay wreaths in memory of WWII and 1991 Indipendence War victims.
MARIBOR - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to host a press conference to unveil an additional motorway programme as part of the government resolution on national development projects for 2007-2023.
LJUBLJANA - Slovenian Composers' Association is to present the 2006 Kozina Award to one of its members.

SATURDAY, 28 October

SUNDAY, 29 October
LJUBLJANA - Clocks will be turned back to regular Central European Time at the conclusion of daylight savings time.
LJUBLJANA - The 11th Ljubljana Marathon.
