Govt Adopts Bill on EUR 300m Loan for Motorway Company

The government adopted on Thursday a bill on a state guarantee for a EUR 300m loan that is to be taken out by the Motorway Company (DARS) at the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The loan will facilitate the construction of motorway sections between Pluska and Ponikve, Ponikve and Hrastje, Sentvid and Koseze, Slivnica and Drazenci and Vrba and Peracica.
In order to secure the loan, the contract between DARS and EIB must be concluded as soon as possible. Therefore the government wants parliament to pass the act in shortened procedure.
