TUESDAY, 26 September
NEW HAVEN, US - FM Dimitrij Rupel is to deliver a lecture at Yale University.
PORTOROZ - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to speak to the press ahead of the informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary foreign policy committee is to hold a session.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary commission for oversight of intelligence and security services is to meet behind closed doors.
LJUBLJANA - The programming council of public broadcaster RTV Slovenija is to resume a session dedicated to debating changes to the institution's articles of association.
LOGATEC - Logistics group Intereuropa is to hold a ceremony as it acquires 70 new trucks.
LJUBLJANA - The organisers of the City of Women festival of performing arts are to hold a press conference to outline the upcoming festival.
WEDNESDAY, 27 September
CAMBRIDGE, US - FM Dimitrij Rupel is to wrap up his ten-day visit to the US with a lecture at Harvard University.
LJUBLJANA - The commission overseeing the sale of the state's stake in the Slovenian Steel Group is to outline privatisation plans.
LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's Human Rights Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek is to host a conference on combatting hate speech.
TIRANA, Albania - Defence Ministers of the SE Europe Defence Ministerial are to meet. Slovenia is to be represented by Defence Ministry State Secretary Franci Znidarsic.

THURSDAY, 28 September
PORTOROZ - An informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers is to get underway. The two-day meeting is to be chaired by NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.
LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to meet for its weekly session.
LJUBLJANA - The Government Equal Opportunities Office and the Finnish Embassy in Slovenia are to host a panel on equality of the sexes in Europe.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Health Minister Andrej Brucan is to take part in a two-day Pharmaceutical Forum.
MENGES - A ceremony is to be held to mark the 60th anniversary of pharma company Lek.
POSTOJNA/PIVKA - The 45th Linhart Meet, a three-day theatre festival named after the Slovenian playwright, is to get underway.

FRIDAY, 29 September
MADRID, Spain - The EU's Mediterranean members, including Slovenia, are to meet to discuss ways to tackle illegal migration.
MARIBOR - The Gymnastics World Cup is to come to Slovenia's second largest city. The 39th Salamun Memorial is to feature three days of competition, including finals on 1 October.

SATURDAY, 30 September
LJUBLJANA - NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer is to visit the main barracks in Ljubljana and hold a press conference with Defence Minister Karl Erjavec.
LJUBLJANA - The European Association of Parkinson's Sufferers is to hold an international conference. Participants are to be addressed by Health Minister Andrej Brucan.
WARSAW, Poland - Miss Slovenia Iris Mulej is to be competing at the Miss World 2006 beauty pageant.

SUNDAY, 1 October
PORTOROZ - The Golden Drum 2006 advertising festival is to get underway.
