Ljubljana, 28 June

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS) has conferred awards for the best innovations at national level in 2005 with the aim of encouraging the innovation potential of the Slovenian economy through thirteen regional CCIs.

An expert five-member jury assessed the thirty-nine best innovations, and conferred five golden, and two silver awards.
The golden awards went to Cetis, a Celje-based company, for their Cetis Security Multilayer-CSM product; the National institute of Chemistry, for an innovation entitled Water-soluble coenzyme Q10; Litostroj, for their innovation, entitled The measurement of the resonance vibration of a hydroelectric generator rotor; the Železniki-based Niko company, for an innovation entitled Optimising lever arch file mechanisms and integration into industry; and to Žiga Dohler and Alberto Manzin for their PENTA computer programme.
Two innovations received silver awards: the Mobile oil filtration system by Hidex of Novo mesto, and the The light trailer for transporting fire-fighters' rescue equipment by the Semič-based company Toki.
