TUESDAY, 27 June.
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - A meeting of the EU Environment Council, also attended by Slovenian Environment Minister Janez Podobnik.
EDINBURGH, Great Britain - Parliament Speaker France Cukjati is to begin a two day visit to Scotland.
ATHENS, Greece - Higer Education Minister Jure Zupan is to attend a two-day OECD council meeting on ministerial level on higher education.
HOLMEC - The central ceremony marking Police Day, to be attended by Interior Minister Dragutin Mate, the chief of Slovenian Police Joze Romsek and PM Janez Jansa as honorary speaker.
TRBOVLJE - Public discussion about quality and effective healthcare, also attended by Health Minister Andrej Brucan.
BRNIK - The Slovenian Consumers' Association and EU representatives are to present a EU consumer protection campaign.
KOPER - The press is to be presented the programme of the 13th primorski festival.

WEDNESDAY, 28 June
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The European Commission is to publish its proposal for setting the irreversible exchange rate between the Slovenian tolar and the euro.
LJUBLJANA - A statement by the Schengen evaluation commission after a three-day visit aimed at establishing if Slovenia is prepared for controlling border crossing at airports.
LJUBLJANA - Environment Minister Janez Podobnik is to host his Macedonian counterpart Zoran Sapuric.
LJUBLJANA - A panel on the education of teachers in light of the Bologna Reform, organised by the association of Slovenian teachers.
LJUBLJANA - Press conference ahead of 14th world saxophone players congress.

THURSDAY, 29 June
LJUBLJANA - A panel entitled The Media and the EU: Is Europe Still Exciting?, organised by the Slovene Press Agency as part of its 15 anniversary.
STICNA - A session of the National Tourist Association which is to discuss the report on its work in 2005, the 2006 programme and guidelines for 2007.
LJUBLJANA - The government is to stage its regular weekly session.
LJUBLJANA - General voting assembly of the Slovenian Composers' Association.

FRIDAY, 30 June
COPENHAGEN, Denmark - France Cukjati is to attend a two-day conference of parliament speakers from EU member states.
LISBON, Portugal - State Secretary for European affairs Janez Lenarcic is to meet with his counterparts from Germany and Portugal.
ANTIBES, France - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to attend an international conference on the publication of the EU Maritime Green Paper.
LJUBLJANA - A session of the parliamentary EU affairs committee.
LJUBLJANA - A session of the economic and social council, with a report on development in 2006 also on the agenda.
MURSKA SOBOTA - The State Secretary for Development Andrej Horvat is to visit Slovenia's poorest region of Pomurje where he is to attend a working meeting on the issue of Pomurje in the financial perspective 2007-2013 and a panel on government sponsored reforms.
LJUBLJANA - The Interior Affairs Ministry is to speak to the press about the 2006 road safety plan.
PORTOROZ - The second edition of the Festival of European Film is to conclude in Portoroz.

SATURDAY, 1 JULY
SLOVENSKA BISTRICA/BREZOVICA PRI BOROVNICI - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to attend ceremonies across Slovenia marking the 15 anniversary of major military achievements in Slovenia's war for independence.

SUNDAY, 2 JULY
SENTILJ - Interior Affairs Minister Dragutin Mate is to be the honorary speaker at a ceremony at the border crossing with Austria Sentilj marking 15 years of Slovenian independence.
BOHINJ - The 50th gathering of Slovenian emigrants from around the world organising by the Slovenian Emigrants Society (SIM).
