Croatia Announces Blue Paper in Response to White Paper

Rijeka, 19 June

Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader has announced a Croatian "blue paper" in response to Slovenia's white paper on the border with Croatia that was unveiled on Monday.

The Croatian government will carefully study the white paper and engage experts in the preparation of a blue paper where it will lay out its arguments and positions, Sanader said according to the Croatian news agency Hina.
Sanader also used the opportunity to urge Slovenia towards the resolution of the ongoing dispute regarding the border at an international legal body.
The white paper that the Slovenian foreign ministry presented contains documents on Slovenia's positions on the unresolved border issues with Croatia and lists the country's arguments in favour of its stances.
