TUESDAY, 13 June
SAINT PETERSBURG, Russia - President Janez Drnovsek is to attend the 10th International Economic Forum, entitled "Man in the World Order of the 21st Century: Economy, Politics, Culture and Living Standards".
LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Student Organisation (SOS) is to present its amendments to the national higher education programme until 2010 and comment on current issues.
KRANJ- Shareholders of the maker of electric meters Iskraemeco are to decide whether to convert into an ownership stake a EUR 11.43m loan allocated by retailer Engrotus to pay Iskraemeco's debts. It should also become clear whether the state-run funds KAD and SOD would sell their 36% stake in the Kranj-based company. Apart from Engrotus, Iskra is another company interested in acquiring a majority stake.
WARSAW, Poland - State Prosecutor General Barbara Brezigar is to attend a conference of EU state prosecutors general and heads of supreme courts.
LJUBLJANA - Governor of the Austrian province of Styria Franz Voves is expected in Slovenia upon the invitation of Local Government and Regional Policy Minister Ivan Zagar. He is also scheduled to meet FM Dimitrij Rupel and Speaker of the National Assembly France Cukjati.
KOPER - Representatives of the Italian minority in Slovenia and Croatia and the Slovenian minority in Italy are to meet and held a news conference.
LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Tax Administration (DURS) is expected to discuss personal income tax in 2005 and present new personal income tax forms at a press conference, to be attended by DURS head Ivan Simic and Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk.
MARIBOR - A panel on the possibilities of privatisation in the health care sector is to be attended by Health Minister Andrej Brucan.

WEDNESDAY, 14 June
LJUBLJANA - Bosnia-Herzegovina Defence Minister Nikola Radovanovic is expected in Slovenia upon the invitation of his Slovenian counterpart Karl Erjavec.
LJUBLJANA - The government is to meet at its regular weekly session.

THURSDAY, 15 June
BRUSSELS, Belgium - A two-day EU summit is to be attended by PM Janez Jansa, FM Dimitrij Rupel and the head of the Government Office for European Affairs Janez Lenarcic. The meeting is expected to discuss the fate of the EU constitution and confirm Slovenia as the 13th eurozone member, due on 1 January 2007.
STRASBOURG, France - As part of its regular session, the European Parliament is to discuss a report on admitting Slovenia into the eurozone.
PORTOROZ - Slovenia is to host a two-day 9th annual general meeting of the European Business Congress, a forum for discussing concrete entrepreneurial questions and relevant economic topics.
SOFIA, Bulgaria - A Slovenian delegation is to attend a four-day joint meeting of the governing board and the administrative council of the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB). Set up in 1956, the CEB is the financial instrument of the policy of solidarity developed by the Council of Europe.

FRIDAY, 16 June
BRUSSELS, Belgium - After the close of the EU summit, PM Janez Jansa is expected to open the new offices of the Slovenian Embassy in Belgium.
CORFU, Greece - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to meet his counterparts and other ministers authorised to discuss the 10th pan-European transport route.
LJUBLJANA - Social partners - the government, employers and trade unions - are to continue talks on the employment act.
MARIBOR - European Commission Representation Office in Slovenia and the Slovenian Enterprise Fund are to organise a news conference on a pan-EU campaign for small and medium-sized enterprises.
IDRIJA - The 25th festival of bobbin lace is to be launched with an exhibition on the history of the bobbin lace in Idrija.

SUNDAY, 18 June
OXFORD, UK - A ceremony is to mark the renovation of the "kozolec" - a Slovenian-style hay-rack.
