"The Euro Is Coming" to All Households

As part of a campaign on the introduction of the euro in Slovenia, the Government PR and Media Office and the Bank of Slovenia have prepared a special publication which will be sent to households across Slovenia in the coming days.

The "The Euro is Coming" publication offers the basic information concerning the euro changeover planed in "big bang" style on 1 January 2007.
The booklet presents one of the central elements of the euro adoption information campaign.
A total of 714,250 copies have been printed, 673,00 in the Slovenian language and the rest in the languages of minorities and other ethnic groups in Slovenia as well is in English.
The publication is furthermore available in versions with larger print, Braille and in audio.
The project was also supported by the European Commission as the entire publication was printed by the Commission's office for publications in Luxembourg.
