TUESDAY, 30 May
MOSCOW, Russia - A Slovenian-Russian business conference is to take place, to be opened by Prime Minister Janez Jansa.
LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is to continue its regular May session.
LJUBLJANA - The Helsinki Monitor of Slovenia (HMS) is to talk to the press about the war crimes Slovenia allegedly committed against members of the former Yugoslav People's Army (JLA) at the Holmec border crossing during the war for Slovenian independence.
LJUBLJANA - Bank Austria Creditanstalt is to hold a press conference ahead of the Europa Forum 2006, and the conferring of Business Award.
PORTOROZ - The business daily Finance and the Slovenian Management Association are to stage the 11th two-day Slovenian marketing conference on innovations as local and global breakthroughs.
LJUBLJANA - The 21nd international festival of world music "Druga godba" to get underway.

WEDNESDAY, 31 May
LJUBLJANA - Albert II, Prince of Monaco, is expected on a two-day visit to Slovenia on the invitation of President Janez Drnovsek. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) is to host a Slovenia-Monaco conference.
LJUBLJANA - The final day of the parliament's regular May session.
LJUBLJANA - The head of the European Commission's Representation Office in Slovenia, Mihela Zupancic, is to hold a lecture on the future of the EU.
NOVO MESTO - Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant and the State Secretary for Development Andrej Horvat are to attend a regional event within the project "Development Strategy of Slovenia". They are also to visit Adria Mobil, the maker of caravans.
NOVO MESTO - Financial group Probanka and insurer Zavarovalnica Tilia are to hold a press conference to present a new joint product.
LJUBLJANA - Public Health Institute is to hold a press conference and a panel upon the World No-Tobacco Day. Health Minister Andrej Brucan is also to attend.

THURSDAY, 1 June
BANGKOK, Thailand - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to attend a two-day ministerial of the Human Security Network, the presidency of which Slovenia is to take over as of 1 June.
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - EU ministers responsible for employment, social affairs, public health and consumer protection are to hold a two-day session. Slovenia is to be represented by Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Janez Drobnic, and Health Minister Andrej Brucan.
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate and Justice Minister Lovro Sturm are to attend a two-day session of EU interior and justice ministers.
LJUBLJANA - The government is to convene for its weekly session.
LJUBLJANA - The Institute for Economic Research is to talk to the press about the competitiveness of Slovenian economy and trends of recent years.
LJUBLJANA - The Health Ministry, the Medical Chamber, and the Management Agency are to host a two-day panel on the privatisation in Slovenian health care. Health Minister Andrej Brucan is also to attend.
MARIBOR - Post of Slovenia is to hold a press conference to present the 2005 business results, and 2006 plans and strategic guidelines.
LJUBLJANA - The Peace Institute is to host a three-day international conference on the present situation in politics.
PORTOROZ - A press conference is to be held ahead of the second Festival of European Film.

FRIDAY, 2 June
LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Journalists' Trade Union is to hold its annual session.
