TUESDAY, 23 May
LOKA PRI MENGSU - The Centre for a European Future is to be launched at a special ceremony.
LJUBLJANA - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to meet visiting German Counterpart Wolfgang Tiefenseen.
LONDON, Great Britain - An assembly of the board of governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development - being attended by Slovenian state secretary Ziga Lavric - is to conclude.
MURSKA SOBOTA - The Slovenian Roma Association is to organise a conference on the employment situation of Roma. The head of the government's Office for Nationalities Janez Obreza and Labour Minister Janez Podobnik are also to attend.
LJUBLJANA - A session of the programming council of RTV Slovenia with the programming scheme of the broadcaster for 2006 on the agenda.
IG - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to deliver the key-note speech at a ceremony marking 15 years since the first generation of Slovenian soldiers started their training at the Ig training campus.
KLAGENFURT, Austria - The minority organisation National Council of Carinthian Slovenians (NSKS) and the United List (EL), the only Slovenian party in Austria's Carinthia, are to deliver a statement on the decree on bilingual signs in the province.

WEDNESDAY, 24 May
POSTOJNA - The cabinet is to travel to the Notranjsko region for a working visit.
LJUBLJANA - The Student Organisation of Slovenia (SOS) is to stage a protest in case no agreement is reached at negotiations with the government on Monday.

THURSDAY, 25 May
LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to meet for its regular weekly session.
LJUBLJANA - Amnesty International Slovenia is to present to the press the annual AI report on human rights violations in the world in 2005.
PORTOROZ - Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant is to attend the Days of Slovenian Crafts.
MARIBOR - The 8th international festival of creative communication Magdalena 2006 is to begin, running through Saturday.

FRIDAY, 26 May
TIRANA, Albania - FM Dimitrij Rupel is to attend a meeting of his counterparts from member countries of the Central European Initiative.
CELJE - Environment Minister Janez Podobnik is to participate in the third Slovenian conference entitled "Water - Concern, Nuisance and Challenge".
IZOLA - The 3rd "Kino Otok - Isola Cinema" film festival is to begin in the coastal town of Izola with the closing screenings scheduled for 30 May.

SATURDAY, 27 May
VIENNA, Austria - Beginning of a two-day informal meeting of EU's foreign ministers on the bloc's future, also attended by Slovenian FM Dimitrij Rupel.

SUNDAY, 28 May
TURJAK - President Janez Drnovsek's newly established Movement for Justice an Development is to hold its maiden assembly.
