Petkovsek Bags Another World Cup Gold

Lyon, 19 March

Slovenia's Mitja Petkovsek won gold on parallel bars at the Gymnastics World Cup meet in Lyon on Sunday.

Petkovsek, who also topped the competition at the opener of the new season two weeks ago in Tehran, finished with 15.875 points.
Another Slovenian world champion from the championships held in Melbourne last November, Aljaz Pegan on the high bar, failed to qualify for the final round.
