TUESDAY, 28 February
TRIESTE, Italy - Transport ministers of Croatia, Hungary, Italy and Slovenia are to meet to discuss the completed work on constructing the road and railway infrastructure on the 5th pan-European transport corridor.
LJUBLJANA - The council of the Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance (ZPIZ) is to discuss a draft report on its operations in 2005.
LJUBLJANA - Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek is to stage a press conference on topical events.
MARIBOR - Development Minister Joze P. Damijan is expected to attend a panel organised by the Maribor Economics Faculty upon the presentation of a monograph on economic and social reforms.
WEDNESDAY, 1 March
LJUBLJANA - The President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, the Commission's Vice President and the Institutional Relations and Communication Strategy Commissioner Margot Wallstroem and Science Commissioner Janez Potocnik are to begin a two-day visit to Slovenia.
MARIBOR - Croatian Ambassador Mario Nobilo is to hold a lecture on the legal aspects of open issues between Slovenia and Croatia.
LJUBLJANA - PM Janez Jansa will be the speaker of honour at the central national ceremony marking the world civil protection day.
THURSDAY, 2 March
LJUBLJANA - The President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso is scheduled to address the Slovenian parliament.
BREGENZ, Austria - EU's transport ministers, including Slovenia's Janez Bozic, are to meet for a two-day informal meeting.
PARIS, France - Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Major General Ladislav Lipic, is to begin a two day visit to France at the invitation of France's Chief of the Defence Staff, General Henri Bentegeat.
LJUBLJANA - The National Council is to stage a public debate on bird flu in Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - Jurcic Awards for the purstuit of truth in journalism are to be handed out.
FRIDAY, 3 March
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina - Education Minister Milan Zver is to begin an eleven-day working visit to Argentina.
SUNDAY, 5 March
STANFORD, US - Development Minister Joze P. Damijan is scheduled to start a three-day working visit to the US at the invitation of Bernard Roth of Stanford University.
CELJE - The 16th Days of Comedy will come to an end with the presentation of awards for best achievements.
