While the English original has been available for some 7 months, Slovenian fans of Harry Potter can now also enjoy the book in their language.
The book was translated by acclaimed Slovenian author and translator Branko Gradisnik, who is also responsible for the Slovenian version of J.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.
In its sixth installment, entitled Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the author J. K. Rowling banishes all signs of child-like innocence from her heroes, while leaving many questions open, to be dealt with in the seventh book.
"Rowling is a good person by heart," said Gradisnik. "She has no falseness about her...She gives the kids what they lack in these cruel and nonsensical times - a chance to at least temporarily withdraw from today's Dursley world," the translator added.
