TUESDAY, 24 January
LJUBLJANA - FM Dimitrij Rupel is to host his San Marino counterpart Fabio Berardi.
LJUBLJANA - The programming council of public broadcaster RTV Slovenija is to meet at its first session.
LJUBLJANA - European Transport Commissioner Jacques Barrot is to hold a press conference on motorways of the sea accompanied by PM Janez Jansa and Transport Minister Janez Bozic.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - A meeting of EU finance ministers. Slovenia's Andrej Bajuk is expected to take part as well.

WEDNESDAY, 25 January
METLIKA/NOVO MESTO - The government is to stage its ninth tour of Slovenian statistical regions, stopping in Dolenjsko and Bela Krajina in the south of the country.
NEW YORK, US - State Secretary at the Justice Ministry Robert Marolt is to take part in the fourth meeting of signatories of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court in the Hague.
MARIBOR - The Royal Flemish Philharmonics are to stage a concert in Slovenia's second largest city.

THURSDAY, 26 January
LJUBLJANA - Weekly session of the government.
MUNICH, Germany - A session of the Slovenia-Bavaria commission, also attended by Slovenian FM Dimitrij Rupel and Bavarian Prime Minister Edmund Stoiber.

FRIDAY, 27 January
BUDAPEST, Hungary - Labour Minister Janez Drobnic is to represent Slovenia at a working meeting of the Visegrad Group.

SUNDAY, 29 January
LJUBLJANA/KOPER/NOVA GORICA/NOVO MESTO/PTUJ - Referendums on the establishment of new municipalities are to take place in several Slovenian towns.
