Ljubljana, 13 December

A web gateway to Slovenian winter sports resorts was launched on Tuesday, offering information in Slovenian, English, Italian and German.

The portal offers information about winter sports activities in Slovenia, including data on skiing, snowboarding, skating, cross-country skiing, biathlon and ski touring.
The www.sloveniaski.info website was designed by company Acenta in cooperation with the Slovenian Association of Ski Lift Operators, and presents in detail all skiing resorts and other winter sports venues in Slovenia.
Every venue is presented with data on ski trails, opening hours, ticket prices, snow reports, weather forecasts and safety on the slopes, as well as a panorama and site photos.
The gateway moreover includes information on events at the resorts and in towns nearby, on ski equipment rental and repair, ski schools, restaurants and lodgings. It also enables accommodation booking via Internet.
