TUESDAY, 4 October
LJUBLJANA - The Government Office for Slovenians Abroad is to present the bill on Slovenians abroad that the government filed for parliamentary debate last week.
LJUBLJANA - The new Chancellor of the University of Ljubljana, Andreja Kocijancic, is to be sworn in.

WEDNESDAY, 5 October
SKOPJE, Macedonia - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to visit Macedonia in his capacity as the OSCE chairman-in-office.
LJUBLJANA - The Chief-of-Staff of the Dutch Armed Forces, General D.L. Berlijn, is to arrive for a three-day visit to Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to open an exhibition looking at Slovenians that fought on the Isonzo Front between 1915 and 1917.

THURSDAY, 6 October
LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to hold its weekly session.
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is scheduled to take part in a meeting of EU transport ministers.
PORTOROZ - The 8th Days of Public Procurement are to get underway, focusing on public procurement legislation. The two-day event is being organised by the Management Agency and the Public Procurement Association.

FRIDAY, 7 October
KEPOSVAR, Hungary - The interior ministers of Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia are to launch a two-day meeting.
LJUBLJANA - The 11th City of Women, a festival dedicated to the celebration of women artists, is to get underway. The week-long event is to feature some 40 female artists from 18 countries.
NOVO MESTO - Camper and caravan maker Adria Mobil is to hold a press conference as it moves its production to a new, state-of-the-art plant.

SATURDAY, 8 October
SVETI STEFAN, Serbia-Montenegro - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is due to attend a session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in his capacity as the OSCE chairman-in-office.
LJUBLJANA - The opposition Social Democrats (SD) are to hold a conference on Slovenia's Development Strategy.
PALERMO, Italy - Slovenia and Italy are to square off in a crucial qualifier for football's 2006 World Cup.
