Continental Breakfast to Be Served at Ljubljana Castle

Ljubljana, 30 August

The international Continental Breakfast project, entitled "Ljubljana, Memory (w)hole" will take place between 2 and 25 September at Ljubljana Castle.

The project is based on a net as a basis of memory, and aims at establishing a net of new projects around the world, Barbara Novakovic Kolenc of the organising art institution Muzeum told the press in Ljubljana on Tuesday.
The event will include an international conference, a performance conference and an exhibition. Continental Breakfast will be "served" by 23 artists from 15 countries. After Ljubljana, it will be "tasted" in Maribor and then also in Tallinn and Budapest.
The conference, intended for curators, took place between 3 and 5 September. It was introduced by the performance conference (2 to 4 Sept), a series of eight shows by artists from several European countries.
The origins of Continental Breakfast go to the 2nd Venice Forum for Contemporary Art Curators from 2003, which was sponsored by the regional Central European Initiative.
