Schedule of Events from 23 to 28 August
WEDNESDAY, 24 August
LJUBLJANA - The August section of the Mladi Levi (Young Lions) festival of contemporary dance and theatre, featuring six diverse events, is to be opened with a congress entitled "Lovepangs". The congress, designed by Carmen Brucic, is to take place at the Old Power Plant, a new venue launched in Ljubljana.
THURSDAY, 25 August
LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to hold its weekly session, the first after the summer break.
OTOCEC - Drug maker Krka is to talk to the press about its results and future plans.
LJUBLJANA - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to receive Stanislav Rozman, a Slovenian missionary working in Malawi and the former Slovenian Honorary Consul in Zambia.
FRIDAY, 26 August
ANKARAN - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to visit the children from Ukraine and Srebrenica in Debeli Rtic. Within a government-sponsored project, the Ukrainian children hurt by the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear catastrophe and the Srebrenica children affected by 1995 Srebrenica massacre are spending two-week holidays in Debeli rtic.
ZAGREB, Croatia - Education and Sports Minister Milan Zver is to meet his Croatian counterpart Dragan Primorac. They are to sign a protocol on the cooperation in the field of sports for the period 2005-2009.
SALZBURG, Austria - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is travel to Salzburg to attend the traditional Salzburg Opera Festival.
SATURDAY, 27 August
GORNJA RADGONA - The 43rd International Agriculture and Food Fair, one of the biggest fairs of its kind in the region, is due to get underway.
