Intereuropa Opens New Logistics Centre in Croatia

The Koper-based logistics group Intereuropa opened a new logistics centre near Split on the Croatian coast on Thursday in an investment worth of 7.3 million euros.
Located in Dugopolje, the new centre stretches over 18,815 square metres and will store general goods. Including the new centre, Intereuropa's logistics premises in Croatia now amount to 57,000 square metres.
According to Andrija Jurgec, chairman of the group's subsidiary in Zagreb, Intereuropa has invested over 33 million euros in its facilities in Croatia since 2000.
Boasting a fleet of over 350 trucks and other vehicles, Intereuropa generated net sales revenues of EUR 212.7m in 2004, while the net profit amounted to EUR 12m.
