WEDNESDAY, 18 May OTTAWA, Canada
Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is scheduled to begin a working visit to Canada.
POSTOJNA - The media will be able to view the Clever Ferret 2005 military exercise of the Multinational Land Force that brings together Slovenia, Italy and Hungary.
LJUBLJANA - The Association of Slovenian Cooperatives are to hold a press conference on milk prices and denationaliasation claims.

THURSDAY, 19 May
LJUBLJANA -The cabinet is to hold its weekly session.
GALAWAY, Ireland - State Secretary for European Affairs Marcel Koprol is to take part in a two-day seminar on the shape of the EU a year after enlargement.
PRISTINA, Serbia-Montenegro/SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzegovina - Armed Forces Chief of Staff Ladislav Lipic is to pay a visit to Slovenian soldiers serving in the international peace-keeping missions in Kosovo and Bosnia. LJUBLJANA - A strategy for developing eco-farming is to be discussed at a conference organised by the National Council and the Institute for Sustainable Development.
LIPICA - A ceremony is to be held on the 425th anniversary of the Lipica Stud Farm.

FRIDAY, 20 May LJUBLJANA
OZBALT - Dravske elektrarne, which operates hydro-electric power plants on the Drava river in NE Slovenia, is to hold a ceremony as it wraps up renovation works on a number of its plants.
LJUBLJANA - A round table debate organised by the Consumer Protection Association in cooperation with the Economics Ministry is to review consumer protection policies in Slovenia.
PORTOROZ - A two-day international conference on best practices in communications is to get underway.
LJUBLJANA - High school graduates from around Slovenia are to take part in traditional graduation parades.

SATURDAY, 21 May
PEKRE - A ceremony is to be held to remember the attempts of the Yugoslav People's Army to stop the training of first Slovenian conscripts, one of the main events leading to the ten-day war for independence in 1991.
