LJUBLJANA - A number of ceremonies are to be held to mark Resistance Day.
THURSDAY, 28 April
LJUBLJANA - EU Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs Joaquin Almunia is to begin a two-day visit. He is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Janez Jansa, Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk and Bank of Slovenia Governor Mitja Gaspari.
SKOPJE, Macedonia - Speaker of Parliament France Cukjati is to begin a two-day official visit to Macedonia. He is due to meet Speaker Ljupce Jordanovski, President Branko Crvenkovski and Prime Minister Vlado Buckovski.

FRIDAY, 29 April
LJUBLJANA - Irish Foreign Minister Dermot Ahern is to pay a visit, to meet his Slovenian counterpart Dimitrij Rupel.
SATURDAY, 30 April
NOVA GORICA - Municipalities of Slovenian Nova Gorica and Italian Gorizia are to organise a ceremony to mark the first anniversary of Slovenia's EU entry.
