DUSHANBE, Tajikistan - The OSCE chairman, Slovenian FM Dimitrij Rupel is to pay a working visit to Tajikistan.
LJUBLJANA - Hungarian President Ferenc Madl is to begin a two-day visit to Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - A World Food Programme delegation led by assistant executive director John M. Powell to begin a two-day visit.
POSTOJNA - Tourism company Postojnska jama, turizem is to present its results, and investments planned for 2005.
LJUBLJANA - A talk with Russian composer Sofia Gubaydulina prior to a concert of her music.
LJUBLJANA - Best Slovenian dances are to receive "Povodni moz" awards.

WEDNESDAY, 20 April
ASHKABAT, Turkmenistan - The OSCE chairman, Slovenian FM Dimitrij Rupel is to pay a working visit to Turkmenistan.
BERLIN, Germany - A first meeting of Germany, Portugal and Slovenia - the three EU members that are due to jointly assume EU presidency in 2007.
LJUBLJANA - Norway's Deputy FM Kim Traavik is to visit.
LJUBLJANA - Capital 2005, a traditional two-day event bringing together financial experts, is to focus on reliable financial solutions.
JESENICE - Steel company Acroni is to present its business results and plans.
PORTOROZ - International boat show Internautica, from 10 to 15 May, is to be presented.
MARIBOR - The 9th Slovenian conference on public relations is to begin.
KOPER - The Faculty of Humanities of Primorsko University and the Santorio Santorio Italian community are to organise a panel on regional cooperation in the EU context.
LJUBLJANA - Publisher Mladinska knjiga is to present its cooperation with publisher Reader's Digest, and the latter's plans in SE Europe.

THURSDAY, 21 April
VILNIUS, Lithuania - FM Dimitrij Rupel is to attend an informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers.
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - A session of the EU council for transport, telecommunications and energy to be attended by Slovenian Transport Minister Janez Bozic.
LJUBLJANA - The council of RTV Slovenija is to take a decision on a new director general of the public broadcaster.
LJUBLJANA - Center Evropa is to host a panel on the European constitution, with attendance of EU Ambassador to Slovenia Erwan Fouere.
DUBROVNIK, Croatia - Chief-of-staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces, Maj. Gen. Ladislav Lipic to take part in a meeting of his counterparts from CENCOOP.
PORTOROZ - The 9th Days of Slovenian Trade are to begin; a summit of the European organisation of small and medium companies (EUAPME) on 22 and 23 April.
LJUBLJANA - The water park Atlantis is to open to the public, expected to attract up to 700,000 visitors a year to 14 swimming pools, waterfall baths, saunas, massage parlours, and toboggan slides.
LJUBLJANA - The Cervantes Institute is to present an agreement signed three years ago by the Spanish King Juan Carlos and the University of Ljubljana.

FRIDAY, 22 April
LJUBLJANA - A concert of traditional Indian music by Lalit&Peter Szalai is to open Days of Indian Culture in Ljubljana; through 26 April.

SATURDAY, 23 April
PIRAN - The third Saltworks Festival is to open.
