TUESDAY, 1 February
LJUBLJANA - Parliament is due to ratify the EU constitutional treaty.
MOSCOW, Russia - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to visit Russia in the capacity of the OSCE chairman-office.
LJUBLJANA - The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food is to hold a news conference to outline agricultural policies adopted by the government for 2005.

WEDNESDAY, 2 February
LJUBLJANA - Macedonian Foreign Minister Ilinka Mitreva is to pay a visit to Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to receive a farewell visit by Moldavian Ambassador Mihail Laur.
LJUBLJANA - Representatives of the foreign ministries of Slovenia and Iran are to hold regular political consultations.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Jure Zupan is to attend a conference of the European Parliament on the participation of the Western Balkan countries in EU research projects.

SUNDAY, 6 February
PTUJ/CERKNICA - Traditional Shrovetide carnivals are to be held in the towns of Ptuj and Cerknica.
