TUESDAY, 25 January
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is due to meet top EU and NATO officials as part of his visit to Brussels. He is to be accompanied by Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel.

WEDNESDAY, 26 January
BRUSSELS, Belgium - As OSCE chair Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to meet the North Atlantic Council at the level of ambassadors.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Jurij Zupan is to meet European Science and Research Commissioner Janez Potocnik as part of his visit to Brussels.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary EU affairs committee is to meet behind closed doors to debate the upcoming session of the Justice and Home Affairs Council.
LJUBLJANA - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to meet the head of the Slovenian-run International Trust Fund for Demining, Dorijan Marsic.
LJUBLJANA - A lecture on the Slovenian-Italian relations in the 20th century, organised by the International Relations Association.

LJUBLJANA - The National Council, the upper chamber of parliament, is to hold an emergency session to debate a bill on the ratification of the EU's constitutional treaty.
LJUBLJANA - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to meet Erhard Busek, the special co-ordinator of the Stability Pact for SE Europe.
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - A two-day informal meeting of EU justice and home ministers, to be attended by Slovenia's Lovro Sturm and Dragutin Mate.
LJUBLJANA - A regular weekly session of the cabinet.
LJUBLJANA - A round-table debate on the Church's role in the integration of European nations.
LJUBLJANA - An association of NGOs involved in environmental protection is to hold a panel on the future of environmental protection in Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Tourist Board is to present last year's performance of Slovenia's tourist industry.
LJUBLJANA - Union Olimpija is to take on France's Asvel in the 12th round of the Euroleague.

FRIDAY, 28 January
LJUBLJANA - Austria's Foreign Minister Ursula Plassnik is due to visit Slovenia.
POLJCE - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec and Slovenian Armed Forces Chief-of-Staff, Maj. Gen. Ladislav Lipic are due to visit the Command for Doctrine, Development, Education and Training.
RADENCI - A two-day conference of employers in small business.
LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce's Transport Association is to hold a round-table debate on labour force flows.
