TUESDAY, 18 Jan

BRUSSELS, Belgium - The Council for Economic and Financial Affairs is to meet, with Slovenia being represented by Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk.
LJUBLJANA - Minister of Public Administration Gregor Virant is to receive the head of the European Commission Representation Office to Slovenia Erwan Fouere.
LJUBLJANA - Rating firm I and international rating firm Dun&Bradstreet are to confer the title of best-rating company in 2004 on three Slovenian companies.
PTUJ - Spa company Terme Ptuj is to present its plans for 2005.

WEDNESDAY, 19 Jan

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary EU and foreign affairs committees are to discuss the EU constitutional treaty, expected to be ratified in the Slovenian parliament on 1 February.
LJUBLJANA - FM Dimitrij Rupel to meet OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Rolf Ekeus.
BRUSSES, Belgium - Minister of Transport Janez Bozic is to begin a two-day visit to Brussels to meet his EU counterpart Jacques Barrot, as well as two directors-general.
NOVA GORICA - A plenary session of the standing commission for development matters of Slovenia and the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
CERKLJE OB KRKI - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec and Chief-of-Staff, Major General Ladislav Lipic are to visit a unit that is to depart from the ISAF mission in Afghanistan in February.

THURSDAY, 20 Jan

LJUBLJANA - Slovak FM Eduard Kukan is to begin a two-day visit.
PORTOROZ - A two-day conference on the business use of the internet, the fourth in a row, is to begin.

SUNDAY, 23 Jan

EL MENZAH, Tunisia - Slovenia is to play Kuweit in group B as the Men's Handball World Championships begin in Tunisia.
