WEDNESDAY, 15 December
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Two-day meeting of transport ministers of the quadrilateral - Italy, Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia. Slovenia will be represented by Minister Janez Bozic.
LJUBLJANA - Press conference of the community of municipalities of Slovenia at which the activities of Slovenian members of the EU Committee of the Regions will be presented.
LJUBLJANA - Panel discussion and presentation of book on European parties and the EU-level party system at the seat of the European Commission representation in Slovenia.

THURSDAY, 16 December
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Slovenia's PM Janez Jansa and FM Dimitrij Rupel will take part at the two-day EU summit which will discuss the start of the negotiations with Turkey and Croatia, the closure of negotiations with Bulgaria and Romania, and guidelines for the 2007-2013 financial perspective. The Primer Minister is also expected to participate at the meeting of leaders from the ranks of the European People's Party (EPP).
LJUBLJANA - The government will convene for the regular weekly session.
LJUBLJANA - Head of the analytical and research centre of the Italian Central bank Francesco Lippi will present a research entitled "Pricing behaviour and the introduction of the euro: Evidence from a panel of restaurants" as part of the Bank of Slovenia's research seminar.
LJUBLJANA - Council of Europe's Information and Documentation Centre is organising a discussion on cultural co-operation and European cultural identity upon 50th anniversary of the European cultural convention.

FRIDAY, 17 December
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The two-day meeting of the European Council will wrap up. Slovenia will be represented by PM Janez Jansa and FM Dimitrij Rupel.
