WEDNESDAY, 24 November
PORTOROZ - The 7th Economic Forum and a business conference themed "Competition, Social Responsibility and Growth" are to open prior to the Central European Initiative summit.
LJUBLJANA - The launch of a book entitled "Values in Transition III. Slovenian Public Opinion 1999-2004, published by the Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences.
LJUBLJANA - A press conference of the International Graphic Arts Centre (MGLC) to present the 26th Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts (23 Jun to 2 Oct 2005).
LJUBLJANA - A presentation of the IT fair CeBIT 2005, to be held in Hanover between 10 and 16 March 2005.

THURSDAY, 25 November
PORTOROZ - The heads of government of the 17 member states of the Central European Initiative are to meet for a two-day annual summit.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - EU finance ministers are to hold a session dedicated entirely to the 2005 budget adoption; to be attended by a representative of the Slovenian Finance Ministry.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - A session of the EU Competitiveness Council; to be attended by Economics Ministry State Secretary Matjaz Logar.
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - An annual meeting of heads and secretaries generals of the Economic and Social Councils of EU and EEA member states; to be attended by Labour, Family and Social Affairs Minister Vlado Dimovski and the secretary general of the Slovenian Economic and Social Council, Danica Cvetko.
LJUBLJANA - An environmental meeting; awards are to be conferred for environment-friendly business practice.
DEKANI - A 6.9-kilometre motorway section between Crni Kal and Srmin is to open for traffic. The Ljubljana-Koper motorway will thus be completed.

FRIDAY, 26 November
PORTOROZ - The CEI summit warps up with a plenary session and a press conference.
NOVA GORICA - The projects co-funded by PHARE cross-border cooperation programme are to be presented.
