· Janez Drnovšek, President of the Republic of Slovenia, to attend fifty-ninth session of the United Nations General Assembly. On this occasion he shall also meet UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
Wednesday, 22 September
· The third Izola Boat Show 2004, an international nautical sales event, to open in Izola.
Thursday, 23 September
· XI Days of Slovenian Administration (Dnevi slovenske uprave) will be running in Portorož from 13 to 25 September.
· The Pomurje fairground hosts this year's fair of military equipment, entitled Modern Army 2004 (Sodobna vojska 2004). Slovene Defence Minister Anton Grizold holds his inaugural speech at the opening ceremony.
Saturday, 25 September
· Prime Minister Anton Rop is to receive "golden" secondary school graduates in Brdo pri Kranju, who excelled in the general and international matura exams, a baccalaureate type of secondary school final exam.
Sunday, 26 September
· Fifteenth Pippi Longstocking festival (Pikin festival) opens in Velenje.
